Back to School Backpacks

On Tuesday, August 5th, volunteers gathered at VTO's pantry to assemble 240 backpacks with snacks and school supplies for students returning back to VUSD schools in a couple of weeks. The event was made possible with the assistance of Nordson-Asymtek and Grifters MC.

Brand new back packs were filled with folders, paper, pens, pencils, and a variety of back to school necessities. Along with the supplies, students received granola bars, fruit snacks, instant ramen, and other food options to help keep them focused throughout the school day.
